Laptops for Lions - First Laptop Ordered

The Laptops for Lions project is proud to announce that the first laptop, a Dell Latitude D630, has been ordered and is being shipped to Dr. Laurence Frank, Director of Living with Lions in Kenya.

The D630 was chosen because the laptop case is metal, rather than plastic, and the Latitude is considered the workhorse of laptops. It's very durable, sturdy, and can take a lot of wear & tear. which it will surely receive in the dusty dry and harsh environment of Kenya.

Here's more information on the team at Living with Lions and their work in Kenya:

A very heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported this project with donations.
