Nothing like waking up first thing in the morning and cleaning up lion poop and leftover bones, entrails, etc., covered with flies. That's what we spent the entire morning doing, after a lion walk with Tsavo, Thulani and Meggie. I actually got some pretty good shots on the lion walk (sorry, no poop shots). Had to take a shower after the enclosure cleaning and am waiting for my lunch to be ready. Then it's off to making walking sticks. Everyone has to carry a walking stick with them on all lion walks. You can have JB (one of the guides) make a walking stick for you with your name on it (I'm on the list but haven't gotten my stick yet). They're pretty cool; I just hope i can either fit it in my duffle bag or carry it on the flight back home.
I think after stick making we have another lion walk. I'm off to check on my lunch - have to eat fast or I'll be late to the next activity.
